Semi Permanent Treatments - Permanent Makeup
Q & A
How long will the makeup last?
Although pigment molecules stay in the skin indefinitely the colour
remains visible for several years. This is visible depending upon the
client's age, skin type, colour choice & lifestyle
Is the procedure painful?
Every client is different but with advanced new equipment and numbing
techniques discomfort is minimal
Do I have a choice on placement & colour?
Definitely. The client is in control every step of the was from desired
shape to colour selection
How long will it take?
You should allow about 1½ to 2 hours for a new procedure
What happens after the procedure?
Immediately post procedure the treated area may appear slightly swollen
and the colour will appear darker and more intense, again this depends on
skin type. This will last for several days. Complete healing can take up to
6 weeks for the pigment in the skin to mature and the true colour to appear.

Camouflage
The value of Micropigmentation in the medical field is now well established.
Doctors, nurses, radiologists and specialists recognise the benefit of such procedures.
Burns
Once burnt skin has healed, or a year after any skin graft work, micropigmentation can be used to camouflage or blend colour to existing tones
Scar Camouflage
Generally a year after a scar has healed, pigments can be used to match the scar to the colour of the surrounding skin in a blending effect. Occasionally the action of micropigmentation can help to stimulate the area and soften the scar tissue
Areola Restoration
Once reconstructive surgery is complete, micropigmentation is used to colour the areola. This usually helps to disguise any scarring and improve appearance. For most clients this is the "finishing touch" on a long and fraught journey.
Cleft Lip Reconstruction
The appearance of a cleft lip can be dramatically improved with micropigmentation. By creating a balanced shape and camouflaging scars, the lip is given definition, symmetry and fullness.
